Tudor Day

I can't tell you how excited I am for Tudor Day. All the girls in Year 4 are going to dress up in Tudor costumes and they are going to do an assembly. I don't exactly know what they will do for the assembly, but when I am in the classroom, I can hear them practicing something really special in the hall. I am such a lucky girl because I was able to get a small preview of some of the things that might happen during Tudor Day - you can see it here.

My only wish is that my mum takes me to Fancy Pants and gets me a costume. I really wonder though, will there be costumes my size?

I hope the girls might be able to help.

Fifi started her life in a little toy shop on the edge of a town. But one day a little girl called Tara came to the shop. Of course Fifi was not called Fifi then. So Tara looked and looked round the shop but when she saw Fifi she told her dad straight away that she would like to buy the big gorilla in the corner so they got her.
When everybody got home Tara told them about Fifi which she had called Lara. That night Tara took Fifi and put her in a cot that she had also bought that day. Fifi slept very well that night. In the next few weeks Tara took Fifi everywhere and her dad went mad so when Tara went back to school after the holiday her dad was having a garage sale, he sold everything but Fifi so he threw her in the dump before he went to collect Tara from school but to Fifi's luck a nice lady called Miss Goggins found her. I will not tell you about that because that is a whole new story !

Fifi's Fairy Land - Ayomide

One day Fifi was sitting at the table looking at her homework."Fifi do your homework”, shouted her mum from the kitchen. Fifi tried but she still had no clue what to do. “Mummy can I watch a bit of telly?" she asked her mum. Her mum didn’t answer. Fifi found her Mars bar in her pocket and ate it. Fifi went into the garden.

Fifi found a gate at the bottom of the garden. She ran over to it and pushed it opened. When she opened it found lots of fairies and pixies. One fairy flew over to Fifi and said “Welcome to Marina. My name is Sarah. We are having a ball in the Malleyan Hall. Would you like to see us get ready?”. Fifi nodded.

She followed Sarah all around Marina. She helped out with the food , the decoration and the clothing. It was 6:00. all the fairies flew to the Malleyan Hall. Fifi followed them. When they got there the ball had started. Fifi had food and danced along with the fairies.

It was 9:00 and Fifi had to leave. When she got home her mum asked “where have you been?”

Fifi just smiled.

Bobbi Lee's Writing - Fifi's Story

Fifi is not really from earth. She is from a planet we don’t now about. It is called gorriloton it was only for monkeys and gorillas. Fifi was the princess of the planet she would be queen some day.
Luckily that day would be in the next 8 hours. It was the day of the crowning.
Before the crowning she went on a walk
around the planet with her fire cat she got from a friend in mars. She was being crowned at the edge of the planet when she
fell off the planet and into earth she was a toy she could move but could not talk she was twisting and turning on a little girl’s bed.
Suddenly a little girl came in saying I want a
Gorilla then she she saw Fifi then her mother came in and said what a pretty toy
Fifi smiled and clapped her hands the mum noticed and threw Fifi in the bin.
One day a school teacher called Miss Goggins she took Fifi and washed her, groomed her and took her to the school she worked at. We now her as Fifi but her country is extinct!

Kiahna's Story - Fifi's Holiday in Dubai

Fi Fi’s Holiday

One day Miss Goggins, Fi Fi’s mum was on the computer, she had booked to fly to Dubai. When Fi Fi found out she was so happy. She was jumping all over the place, she was so exited! So the next three days Fi Fi got on the plane with her mum. On the plane, all the way there, she didn’t sleep at all, she was so happy. Then they finally got there. Fi Fi was pushing and shoving to the front. She stepped out and said WOW!!!!! The next day she went to a water park called Wild Wadi. She thought it was so fun there. There was a huge wave pool. Fi Fi had to wear a life jacket though. Fi Fi thought it was really cool there because they had everything there and lots of rides Fi Fi almost went there every day.

Fifi and Harrison Ford - Faaria

One day Miss Goggins saw some post on the door mat. She picked it up and read it. It was for Fifi. She gave it to Fifi who was eating her breakfast in the kitchen. Miss Goggins left the note on the table and carried on cooking. Fifi stopped eating and picked up the note. She read it. It said,

Dear Fifi Goggins,

As you have made lots of friends and been at lots of schools. We have invited you to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but backstage!
We have organised you to come on the 11th June. Meets me at the entrance of the cinema in Leicester Square.

Yours Sincerely,
Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones)

Fifi was really exited. She ran upstairs. Miss Goggins picked up the note again and checked the date. Miss Goggins called Fifi and said that it was the next day.
Fifi came down the stairs in a long purple dress. She said, “Okay let’s get ready.

So they went to every shop in town and got the clothes they liked. When they got home they tried on all their

clothes and had decided what to wear. Miss Goggins was wearing a long red ruby dress with red and pink high heels. With some red ruby earrings and red lipstick. Fifi was wearing a white crystal dress with light blue high heels and light blue dangling earrings.

Soon the day had come and they had arrived at Leicester Square and Harrison Ford welcomed them. Fifi saw the big cinema but still went backstage. First they went into a room with all the props they used in the film. There was a obstacle course there and Fifi started to play in it. Later on Harrison Ford took them into a reptile room. Harrison Ford picked up a giant King Cobra and put it on Fifi. Fifi was really scared of it and asked Harrison to take it off. Then he put the snake on Miss Goggins! Fifi didn’t really care about how scared Miss Goggins was and ran into a room where the actors were. They were in the actors cinema.
Fifi watched the film. She really enjoyed it. After the film Harrison Ford gave Fifi and Miss Goggins a gold trophy each. Fifi really enjoyed her day with Harrison Ford.

Fifi Learns to Read! by Olivia

Fifi Learns To Read!
Fifi really wanted to start school but everyone said she was too young. Most of all she wanted to be able to read. Fifi felt upset, she had gone shopping on Saturday to buy books. She bought lots of books but Fifi could not read. Fifi was called down for dinner by Miss Goggins, but Fifi didn’t feel like eating but she was very hungry. She ate all her dinner and went upstairs into her bed room. She looked at all her books on her shelf. She wished and wished she could read, Miss Goggins knew that but thought she was too young. Fifi took a book of her shelf and tried to read the title she thought it said Bea and Goldlooks. But it was Goldilocks and the Three Bears. She opened the book and looked at all the words she began to cry. Then Miss Goggins came in and read it too her, Fifi stopped crying and went to bed. The next day Miss Goggins decided to teach Fifi to read Fifi was sooo happy she would be able to read before school! Miss Goggins choose the Three Little Pigs. Fifi tried saying it but it sounded all wrong. Then Miss Goggins said it and Fifi said the title and she began to read the book it was great. So Fifi could read anything anywhere. Fifi read all the time every night before bed during the day. Finally it was time for school. She loved it and especially loved Miss Goggins.

Simran's Writing - Fifi Goggins, Her Story

One day in the toy shop, a gorilla was sitting at the top of the shelf, looking sad and fed up. The shopkeeper didn’t even look at her.Fifi was lonely, all the other toys were happy at other people’s home and they had a family, but Fifi was just not the right toy.
Fifi wondered what to do. Suddenly a big boy charged in named Billy, and he was with his gang. The boys were mean and extremely rude. There weren’t any toys left, so the boys took the gorilla, they did not pay for it. One day the Billy and his gang dumped Fifi in the bin, the gorillas nose fell off and it wripped.
Meanwhile a little girl named Heather Goggins went into the playground and found a gorilla, since it wasn’t anybody’s she decided to keep it, and name it FIFI!She was very happy and she kept it beside her backpack, and showed all her friends!!!!!

Sankhya's Writing - Fifi's Grandmother

When Fifi was three years old, her mum (Miss Mcreedee) said she had to go to school. At first Fifi was curious of what that was. She thought it was a place like Disney Land but found out it was a place to study!

Fifi didn’t want to go. She said she wanted to spend more time with her mum. Because Fifi was being so naughty Miss Mcreedee decided to look for a job as a teacher. Then she would put Fifi in the school she got a job in and that school was………….. Croydon High School! She found a place as a Year 4 teacher! Fifi then realized she did want to go to school.

She usually lived there on schooldays and went with her friends on holiday. Legend says that she died on 5th October 1955 and she only got a glimpse of her namesake granddaughter Fifi Goggins III who follows her grandma’s footsteps everyday.

Fariha's Writing - Fifi, Her Story

Before Fifi lived with Miss Goggins, she lived with a little girl called Jessica. Jessica was quite short and had blonde hair. One day Jessica was in a toy shop and she saw a gorilla and asked her dad if he would buy it. He said yes! Jessica was over the moon with excitement because she didn’t get many toys.
The next day Jessica thought of a new name for the gorilla – Fifi. The first thing she did that day was make sure every one in her family new the Fifi’s name. Then, in the afternoon she made a name tag for her – just in case she got lost but she forgot a tiny little thing – the address and phone number!
On Sunday Fifi and Jessica went to the park. They had great fun! All of a sudden it started to rain! Jessica ran for shelter but Fifi got left behind! Fifi climbed into a skip for shelter but when the rain stopped Jessica didn’t come back to get Fifi! The next day a girl came along named Heather Goggins and she saw Fifi and picked her up. “I think your names Fifi said the girl. You’re coming home with me.” Ever since that day Fifi has always been in one class or another with Miss Goggins.

I love blogging!

Blogging is lots of fun. Things are going well for me lately. Today I think the girls are going to be writing stories in the ICT room about things we have been doing together. I just hope they don't reveal any of the whispered secrets we've shared!

Fifi's Blog

Hi All!
Today was my very first blog. I just love blogging and I also love the computer.

The girls in Year 4 are ever so kind and good to me. This year I have done so many wonderful things. I went to Hong Kong, up to London for a look around, to France, to birthday parties, you name it, I've been there. I mowed the lawn, I even had an operation on my nose! My nose had been all loved off, so luckily Simran's dad is a doctor, so he took me to the hospital for an operation!
I'll write more later,
Fifi
